The Lawson Crow Wing Fling is open to all ages as long as there is one sober adult in each canoe with children under 16.  Kids between 16 and 21 are encouraged to join, designated drivers are always needed!

Meet In Wadena

Everyone should plan to meet in Wadena at 9am on June 3rd.  We hope to be on the road to Nimrod, MN by 9:30am

Our Outfitter of Choice

Gloege's Outfitters are 1 Mile N or Nimrod, MN on County Road 18 on the Crow Wing.  Canoes with paddles run between $20 and $25.  2-3 People per canoe.  You can reach them at 218-472-3250 for exact pricing.

Shuttle Up the River

Gloege's will run us up the river in vans and we will float for the better part of the day back to their location.  We estimate a good 4-5 hours total.

Wadena is 90 miles SE of Fargo on Highway 10.

Turn East off of Highway 10 in Wadena on County Road 4.  Drive exactly 1 mile and turn south on Pine Edge Drive.  Mick and Marcy's house is the Blue house, third on the left. Click the map for a bigger picture.
